In Zanzibar I met this painting artist, whose name is Ramzon, when walking through the village of northern Zanzibar. As his way of working is kind of similar to mine in a traditional meaning in oils, it’s interesting to look at his way of working when the environment he’s working in is in a very big contrast to where and how I work as an illustrator. Most of our work Is completed digitally nowdays even though we often simulate the classical painting finish in our work. (www.laj.se)
