Finally I have finished this 598 square yards painting (500 kvm) at the Västerås airport in a collaboration with Evenzo (www.evenzo.com). I began working at this piece the summer of 2006 in the end of August. The summer was very hot and I got a cold in the beginning working very physical approximately 12 hours a day (as long as the sun was up). When autumn was closing in and it started to rain a lot we cancelled the work to continue with it this summer of 2007. I finished it in May. I used 187,03 gallons of liquid ( 708 litres ) including the “turpentine” to dilute the oil based varnish colours. I only used yellow, blue, red, black and white to mixture the colours I needed. Totally I used 92,98 gallons where I used mostly red (42,26 gallons, 160 litres). I have used approximately 25,96 gallons ( 96 litres ) of white concrete basecoat to prevent the concrete from absorbing the applied colours. I have updated with some new photos showing
the process, some abstract details from the background of the
painting and other photos as well to give you an idea of the
